THE SIGNATUREAxial One, designed by Mechanica Studios and executed by a Mechanica collective - the very talented Alex from Mod4ThaiInspired by Rolls-Royce's Ultrafan Aero Engine Demonstrator and our love for turboprop private planes.We sketched, erased, crumpled, and scrapped countless designs before we finally bloody sketched something we all liked.Translating that sketch to pixels took longer than expected and overthinking every aspect of the design was gripping.Once we stopped using our brains and just grooved, the Axial dial started to flow (axial-flow, if you know you know).Alex took over, asked 'what the fuck is this?', than worked his magic. He really did ask what the fuck he was working on, we wanted to explain but he claimed reception was choppy and hung up.He was sitting next to us.

The buyer should expect a watch with a handmade dial that features skeletonized fordite.I used skeletonized arrow hands to expose as much of the pattern at once as possible, they have green lume that can illuminate some of the pattern at night and a lumed chapter ring that does the same.The case is simple but elegant, it has a coin edge crown and bezel with a dual time insert.The crystal is blue AR coated and domed.The lug width is 22 mm if you’d like to change the strap out, it comes with a leather Barton strap with quick release spring bars.The watch is powered by a TMI NH70 automatic mechanical movement with three hands and no day or date complication.Detroit Agate is made as paint builds up in the paint area of an automotive factory. It takes some highly specialized equipment and hours of my time to produce each dial.Every one of them is entirely unique.
